AboutWhat began as a memorial gift for my family after my Gran's passing. has now evolved into my biggest art challenge yet. Resin is a very, very tricky art form, one that has me so inspired unlike any other. I call it the "Goldilocks of art forms", so many variables to get juuuuust right. It is expensive, it is finicky, and it is SO thrilling when the piece turns out exactly how you envisioned. This has me addicted to perfecting this art form!
FAQHow long does resin preservation take?
From Fresh to Preserved: -Your bouquet will need to be dried in silica gel for a week, then sealed fully, then disassembled, then arranged, then casted little layer by little layer, then sanded, then top coated. The process will take a month on its own, let alone other projects on the go. Please be patient with this process, it is not one you want to rush. From Dried to Preserved: -Only cutting out the first step of drying, this process is very lengthy. A minimum time span of a month is needed, but please inquire to get an estimate if you are rushed.
