Ever since I can remember, I was painting, drawing, crafting, sewing, etc, and as a perfectionist, I have always struggled with keeping my own art. Very early on, I began selling my art pieces as others appreciated my work than I did. I have since worked on my perception of my art, but love sharing my art with others.

After attending OCAD, then switching to Western for visual arts, I became an art teacher for three years where I taught photography and visual arts. Now, I am a marketer/librarian, with free time for art again!!

Just recently, there has been an influx of commissions, so it's time to make things more legit! ​

-I want to travel the world, but my favourite spot I have ever been to is Tofino, BC. 
-I used to live in BC and went to teachers college in North Bay. 
 -Lemonade or a blue slushy are my favourite drinks. 
-I am a sucker for an epic golden hour, a good sunset, and a deep blue hour! 
​-The more unique something is, the better. In all regards!
-I am super passionate about inclusion, diversity & equity.
-Water and mountains call me constantly
-I listen to very slow, mellow, acoustic, folksy music

hd imagery began in 2011 when I had been asked to take family photos as a favour! They went out on a limb to hire me knowing I had no previous experience, but dabbled in photography as a hobby. This family session started a snowball effect where other people saw the work I did and asked me to photograph them as well.

Since then, I have photographed 500+ small sessions, 54 weddings, and have taken both university courses and online courses to expand my skills and abilities. I am eternally grateful for all of the people I get to meet and places I get to explore because of this role.
